Although Iron Mountain has used ResinDek® in hundreds of USA facilities, a project in the United Kingdom provided somewhat of a challenge. The European designed and manufactured flooring that they had been using, just wasn’t holding up to their demanding requirements. So Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC was contacted and asked to provide testing utilizing Iron Mountain’s support structure and load requirements. Iron Mountain also requested the Exclusive 7-Year ResinDek® Product Warranty. With close collaboration between the Consultant, the Systems Integrator, Iron Mountain, and the Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products Engineering Team an exact recreation of loading condition requirements were determined and tested at the Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products Testing Facility. ResinDek® panels are now specified extensively across Europe for their ability to successfully carry Iron Mountain’s heavy volume of rolling traffic.
